Successful GI Dagstuhl Seminar on Visualization of Software Performance

Last week, we met with a selected group of young researchers at Schloss Dagstuhl – Leibniz Center for Informatics to bring together the international research communities from visualization, performance engineering, and high-performance computing.

In tutorials, tool demos, and breakout groups, we discussed the state of the art in the respective fields and identified linking major challenges. We sketched ideas to tackle these and laid the foundation for collaborative efforts to develop respective solutions.

The Seminar was organized by Fabian Beck (University of Duisburg-Essen), Alexandre Bergel (University of Chile), Cor-Paul Bezemer (University of Alberta), and Katherine E. Isaacs (University of Arizona). A seminar report will be published soon.
